We've signed the player who is probably going to be the best cdm in the world someday. For only £62m as well. I can only imagine Atletico will be kicking themselves with that release clause as he probably could of gone for a lot more had it not been in his contract. It's honestly mind boggling to think that with the state that the transfer market is in with inflated transfer fees etc that our most expensive signing is only £62m. We are so lucky to have the backroom staff in place that we do as well as the structure that is in place.
 
This is a great signing for the money.
Will become our midfield’s linchpin for the next 10 yrs.

Shambolic in the sense that we shouldn't have targeted them, and also in the sense that we ended up signing no one going into the season.
