Didn't watch it, just read the match report. If you want to get an idea of Rodri's play in a possession team, watch his Villarreal games from 17/18. He's a slightly less technical but more mobile version of Busquets, probably the most talented DM in his age group (De Jong is there as well, but he has a different skillset).How did he look ?

This is the concern I had when this rumour first surfaced, it never seemed plausible he would leave his boyhood club so either Pep will convince him or the player will get improved wages & bigger buyout fee

Think that would kill any chances of us signing him tbh. €70m is very doable but if he signs a new contract it will be at the very least doubled.
