It was supposed to be BObbs season like yamal did. He is extremely unlucky that he is coming even after Rodri who had a season ending injury.

Every DMF needs time in Peps system. Rodri needed it in his first year, Kovacic needed time molding into that role. Pep thinks that's the position in which players cannot afford to have a bad game.
He also doesn't like DMF players roaming around instead be a kind of static. He wants DMF player to let play happen in front of him.
I think Nico has to learn and thats the reason kovacic is playing before him.
 
Are we even linked?

We need a winger that is more direct than what Grealish and Bernardo can offer and better end product than what Doku and Savinho have shown. Hopefully Bobb shows the same form in pre season as the last one and we can focus on left wing targets.

My preferred targets are Rodrygo, Gordon, Barcola, Nico Williams. All four should be relatively attainable if we want to buy one of them.

Assuming they do sign a nine they should win the league with that team and challenge for champs league.
