Overrated in my eyes. Just watch his games for brazil. Even in the weakest generation he doesn’t set himself apart to be 80+
 
Dont see 4222 working with Erling, the whole idea is of two dropping into the 10 and the wingers becoming strikers to move the CBs about. He isn't doing that, the CBs have no need to vacate the space.

Not that Rodrygo cant be fit in but doubt its in that system unless Erling gets injured again.

If we do end up going with this inside-forward with wide wing-backs system, whichever 2 inside-forwards play could be quite fluid and interchangeable, meaning Rodrygo could quite happily "play off the left".

Thats what im thinking. It would be a 4 3 3 with Fullbacks holding the width.
Haaland spearheading a 3 man forward line. With 2 of Rodrygo, Foden and Marmoush as the others.

One of Savio and Doku stays as a true winger. Id probably pick Savio as he is a fantastic crosser, even though Doku beats his man more easily. But that player only comes in as a sub to put in crosses in a chasing game.

Then 3 Central mids. Reindjers, Rodri, and of Kova being mt current favorite

With Gonzo, Gundo, MGW, Bernie, Bobb ad Echeveri as potential backups who can start depending on injury and who we are about to play. I can already see that qe have too many mods as is hence why i personally would favor moving both Gundo and Bernie.

Which leaves MGW,Gonzo, Echeverri and Bobb. Bobb also doubles as a backup for the forwards.

Wingbacks: O'Reilly, Nunes and their competition.

And then Center backs: Dias, Gvardiol, Khusanov, Reis.
 
If Liverpool get Wirtz I feel like it could make us panic and go for a big name like Rodrygo. I would be all for it, like.
 
Not getting the excitement over Rodrygo, people are complaining about Savinhos output for us when he had 9g/10a for Girona.

Sign him if he is available. Word-class, wasted amongst the Madrid cunts (Bellingham, Mbappe, Vninicius etc.)

Agreed. If he’s not prolific at 24 in this Madrid team, it’s unlikely he’ll suddenly become it here. Also think he’s too lightweight to play well consistently in the PL.

Would genuinely rather get someone like
Mbuemo who’d be half the price, much better output and isn’t going to kick off if he’s rotated. Can also play striker if Haaland gets injured.
