Bayern believe they can get mitoma for 40 mil. Much rather try and hijsck that deal and pay extra 10 or so then sign rodrygo. Mitoma is absolutely brilliant and would be on half the wages and would bring a lot to the club commercially

I can guarantee if we tried to sign him Brighton would bump the price for us to about £80m.

These are his goals from this season alone. He's insanely underrated and just a victim to the Mbappe, Vini Jr, Bellingham hype cycles. He's a cracking footballer and would instantly improve our starting XI by some way. Big game mentality, world class goals regularly, great technique and aggressive dribbler, hardworking, creative, versatile. Would love him at City.

It would be typical city to miss out on this bearing in mind;

He likes City and has openly praised us in the media.
We like him and according to Sam Lee asked about him last year.
He’s available.
Jack is going.
We have the money and wage room to do it.

Makes far too much sense. Which is worrying.
 
I’m a massive Rodrygo fan just the way he plays football. This is a league winning signing for us. He’s so underrated just let him play his football and you will see how good he is. People bring up his stats but that doesn’t show everything. The times he’s hit the woodwork or missed out on an assist.

On form he’s unplayable.

That's several recent posts I've read that is claiming Jack is going.
a) are the club selling, b) who has bid and met our valuation?

I think it’s got to the point it’s obvious. He’s not even travelled with the team to London for today’s game which is sad tbh. When he came on against Bournemouth it felt like a goodbye for me but with Kev no one would comment on that.

We will loan him out of someone won’t pay the fee I’m sure

He’s a player a lot of teams will want…likely a loan with some contribution toward wages. The likelihood of anyone wanting to pay a fee of circa £20-40M and £300k wages would be done given the lack of game time he’s had. I’m unsure if he’d move abroad or stay in the prem.

So more of an expectation than a definitive at this moment

Looking at that the majority of his goals are from a central area and could see him interacting well with Mamoush. The purchase of MGW as well could help provide some grit in the big games.
