Rodrygo

He only wants City...

or Arsenal...

or Munich...

or....

He’s being forced out. Like Di Maria, he wants to stay at Madrid he imagined his whole career at Madrid. Madrid and Perez are basically kicking him out.

he’s not a part of the plans, Madrid want Money to sign a centre back. The way the guy and girl is saying is it’s similar to Di Maria situation. Di Maria didn’t want to go to the rags he wanted PSG but because he was forced out Rags put up the money for him. He then went for the wages.

By my reckoning we have 19 players non HG. Limit for PL is 17. Means we need 3 senior non HGs to go in order to bring in another ie Dumfries. Gundo, Akanji or Kova are most likely of all. Bin off 2 and bring in Livramento would work also.

Guess what I’m saying is Rodrygo is pie in the sky.

100 million again? Incredible how much teams want for players they don't want.

It's a big fuck off from me.
He's not worth £100m.

I know timing in football is essential and it's something we couldn't explore at the time, but, Kvaratskheila from Napoli would have been a dream signing. Feels like one thar got away in a sense.

He's fucking quality.

€100m is £86.5m.

You'd think City might be able to negotiate that down at least a little.

No idea why we would even consider paying €100m. No other team is coming with that money, so why should we? If we want him and I am far from convinced that we do, we should be looking for similar terms that Everton have just got for Grealish. We will take him on loan, pay most/all of his wages and have a no obligation buy fee next summer for 2/3rds of the reported €100m.

Rodrygo is now ~60% likely to be a Manchester City player by September 3rd according to Bet365 current odds FWIW. They were right on the last few guys before it was overly public.

I put some down on Sesko to Newcastle after I seen the clubs agreed on a fee - figured no way he chose United over Newcastle but he did. They always had United as the favourite, which was not how the media was spinning it. Interesting.

Personally don't see the need for this lad.
