So what is Marmoush? Or we sell him? Or acknowledge he was transfer fuck up in Jan?

He can’t play in place of Haaland he can’t play right so where does he a play?
Since new toy syndrome is running wild may be we can sell Marmoush as well

No. If John Stones is fit to play he absolutely does not play right back, he's one of the two centre backs.

Right back has to be one of Nunes or Lewis at present, which is a glaring weakness however you pick the other 10.
 
Don't think there's any denying that swapping Savinho, McAtee and Grealish (loan) for Rodrygo + £20-30m is an upgrade to the squad
 
I rate Rodrygo.

But he is identical in profile to Marmoush.

An inside forward on the left, yes I know Rodrygo CAN play wide RW but has made it clear at Real Madrid (his camp vocalized this) that he doesn't want to play there.

So if Savinho is sold, and Rodrygo potentially comes in, the only way this makes sense in my brain is that we play a wide winger wide fullback system where Nunes or Bobb hold the width on the right, and Savinho is redundant.

I could potentially see a double striker system consisting of any 2 of Haaland/Marmoush/Rodrygo, with RAN/Doku wide left and Bobb/Nunes wide right.

But this has a knock on effect on Reijnders/Cherki/Foden having to play a bit deeper to accommodate (which I'm okay with)

But I have left out Bernie/Gundogan/Kovacic because how do you fit them in if you need Reiinders/Foden/Cherki to play.

I'm reading he's better on the left.

That's Omar's place. We can't just blow 100m when we've got Marmoush.
 
People not rating him and rather having Savio are mad. Savio obviously has a lot of potential but if we need short term G/A Rodrygo is much better. He's also vastly more experienced at a high level and in high stakes matches. His record vs other top teams is really good.

That looks nice. Would allow us to not sign a genuine RB if that slot is effectively an auxiliary CB.
 
Rodrygo? Just because papers rumoured we sell Savinho to Spurs?
And IF true and IF Savinho wants to leave I for one am certain it is because he knows there’s a better player in the squad on his position. Probably going by the name of Bobb. Oscar Bobb. It sure isn’t one Rodrygo.
