Moore wasn’t for me. His movies were parody. Smooth guy but too many quips and slapstick for him to be anywhere other than the bottom of Bond rankings.

Completely agree, mate. Well said. Bond takes himself far too seriously these days.

The genre is not supposed to be a comedy. Moore made it so.

The only comedy Bond film was the original Casino Royale, with David Niven, Peter Sellers and Woody Allen.
