Good afternoon from Rome. Been to see the trevi fountain in all of its glory (well not quite) this morning and then had pizza in a restaurant by the colosseum. Awesome stuff. The weather is glorious and the city is beautiful. Sat in the hotel now getting ready to meet fellow blues in the living room bar and then on to the game. Come on city!!!

Been here since Sunday evening. Some bits are incredible, other parts are a complete shit hole. Never seen such disparity.
Also there must be thousands of immigrants trying to flog shitty selfie sticks. Literally everywhere you go.
The roads are very dangerous, I've seen four minor collisions between vehicles and I'm surprised I've avoided being hit as a pedestrian thus far. There is a constant drone of car horns.
The pizza and pasta I've had here are on another level though. Peroni tastes a lot better here than the shit we get at home. I've paid anywhere between €4 and €9 for a half litre though so it can be a bit pricey in the wrong areas (like any capital city)
