He would be like 65% the cost of Kane.

A reliable proven goal scorer, doesn't have the playmaker ability of Kane, but would give us a real striker option that we need.

Plus the connection with KdB is there.

Inter need to sell also I believe, but he probably doesn't want to leave.

If Tottenham don't budge on Kane price then Lukaku at 80-90m is a great alternative.

Do you really think he's the type of player that would help us crack a tight bank of 5 and 4, which we have to play in most games in a season. He likes balls over the top, we don't play against sides who give us that opportunity.

I wouldn't necessarily agree about the playmaking. Lukaku tends to drop off and create at Inter, predominantly for Lautaro. He has around 12 assists in the league iirc, he's a very well rounded striker and more explosive than Kane who lacks Lukaku's pace.

Yes. He had a very good overall game.

What you have described would mean we just play false 9, and we need alternatives to that.

I agree, he just isn't Kane level. But he is great overall, much improved at Inter.

He's a great option, easy to forget he was getting great numbers even at Everton prior to the unfortunate move to rags. At Inter he's showcased all the qualities of a top striker. I think if a move for Kane fails he could be a very good option. Both have different attributes. The only thing is, he is slightly older than Kane. So it's really a case of who is better value and guaranteed to get numbers needed for a 9 in our side.

False 9, not at all pal. Just don't think he has the intelligence to play for our club.
Just my opinion fella :)
