I would say Kane's creativity is over exaggerated by Son's clincal finishing personally.
His xA stats bear out your suspicions (xA is 'expected assists' - how many assists he'd have with average finishing of his passes). His xA for last season is 7.58, even though he actually got 14 assists, so he had a lot of help.

Kane's xA works out to 0.22 xA per 90 minutes. For comparison, Marhrez's xA per 90 min was 0.28, Foden's was 0.27, and Sterling's was 0.23. KdB's xA per 90 mins was 0.49.

Good fit for the rags, why would Pep want this lump in his footballing side ?
Turning into my target for the Summer. He'd score 30 plus at City and give us a completely different dimensions with de Bruyne crosses. I was very impressed with him against Russia. I know they weren't up too much but all the same you can be the better side in games but not score goals. Strikers who can score 20 plus a season guaranteed are rare.

I think I'd take Kane above all others but is he available? He might want to go, but can't see City paying £120m plus.

I saw him most when he played for the rags and he wasn't great so I am a no but he has scored loads of goals at every other team he has player for.

The rags do have a decent track record of taking pretty good players, and turning them into sh*t.
There are other options out there that I would prefer, but I do trust the clubs powers to be, that if Lukaku was purchased, that he would be a success in our team.
