Don't believe it would happen but If he went to United he wouldn't be the same player that left them. He's still an outrageous talent but he is on the decline now and after so long in spain there's no guarantee he'd be able to readjust to the pace and intensity. Plus, he'd be playing as a lone man upfront for a Mourinho team, he's done it before but it wouldn't suit him and i don't think he'd be enough to get them anywhere near the top of the table. They'd need 5-6 signings of that calibre for the chance.

The only way this would effect us in any way, as there's no chance we'd be in for him is that it would make Madrid go all out in a replacement, most probably Mbappe (a potential buy) and possibly Hazard (weakening our opponents)
