I hope Real Madrid tell him to pay himself own bill the twat. he just signed a new contract so if they don't want to sell him then he goes nowhere. I can't see him going on strike cos he loves the limelight and knows his career is on the home straight so can't afford to waste a year. If he does go on strike then just don't pay the prick

Why anyone would buy a 32 year old to fund RM snapping up Mbappe I have no idea. North of £100m is ludicrous.

We can call Ronaldo and United all the names under the sun, but they reunite this summer he will make them serious challengers for the title.

Zlatan was on course for well over 20 league goals before his injury, at 35 in a pretty average and defensive team.

Ronaldo will walk to 30 league goals if he stays fit and will force everyone around him to step it up a level or two.

People on here, and the media of course, said the same thing about Pogba.

Certainly would be a huge deal them landing Ronaldo, but the gap in quality between the rags and us was so vast last season it would take way more than him and his giant ego to bridge it, never mind when you consider the improvements we've made/are making.

If Pep gets the rumoured players I think he has no excuses in winning the league. The squad he will have will arguably be the best there ever has been in English football.

However don't underestimate what Ronaldo could do to United. Even in a bad team I think he will score 30 league goals.

If United get someone like Dier it will release Pogba into his more natural position, and as we saw against England the other day, he can be utterly brilliant when on it.

Very raggy post, "utterly brilliant", he was not, more so against a mid of ox and dier.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Ronaldo like the rest of us but he's a top player, even if his performances have declined to the point of making him essentially a target man. He'd be a huge signing for the rags and I hope it doesn't happen.

That said, City are simply miles ahead to begin with. When we played them last year, I swear, I had never seen a more cowardly or abstractly poor looking rags side. Therein lies the key, Pogba is just off the back of the worst season of his professional career by a stretch but you could argue that he simply isn't suited for PEG's parked bus. I'd say the same applies to Ronaldo, who doesn't put in a defensive shift and isn't suited to counter-attacking football at Madrid. Whether that would hold true in reality remains to be seen, and let's hope we never do, but I see no reason to feel threatened by what the rags offer at all, especially if we hit all our targets this summer.
