We apparently have an agreement to take the former FIFA World Player of the Year to Manchester for a fee that could eventually reach 125 million pounds. Despite other reports, the club in white still has some say in his transfer and insists on a structured fee based on appearances and honours won, in addition to a very large initial payment. Personal terms have been agreed, despite protracted negotiations regarding dietary restrictions.
The only thing standing in the way of the deal is his medical as City's training staff believe he may have put on some weight in the last few months. My sources tell me he has grown tired of playing "crippled and slow" opposition within his current situation and wants to "experience a new challenge."
