Roninho return (merged)

I would never have him back. Not in a second. Not if he has an amazing World Cup.

He has no respect for this club. FACT.

Not true. He has NEVER said anything specific negative about city, its just that he wants to stay in Brazil, nothing to do with City, other than its not in Brazil. He doesn't seem to be mentally ready to play football outside of Brazil, a shame yes, but it has nothing to do with City. Stop taking everything as a dig vs city.

If he ends up coming back to City I will give him my support, as he is indeed a player of ours.
If he does end up going then I won't give him my support. But that isn't because it's Robinho, but as he won't be a player of ours.

No, he has never said anything negative directly at City, but still he has no respect for us. He ditched a training camp and flew off to Brazil, why? Because he could. While a City player he talked about how it would be great to play at Barcelona and how it would be easier to become the best player in the world there. Would someone who respected him team, manager and club say that? Would they talk so openly in the media, multiple times, about how he is having so much more fun at Santos and wants to stay there. While he speaks the truth. Someone who respects the shirt and us, the fans would never say such things. Would you? You would keep your head down, stay quiet and work your bollocks off. That is respect.
Robinho will say whatever he needs to say, whatever he feels is best for him at that moment. He dance around in front of the camera and play jokes on film, it makes him more likable and his bullshit more believable.

I honestly feel he has no respect for the club.

I'd have him back but he's gonna have to realise he wont be a guranteed starter and will have to fight for his place in the team.He has that magic spark though that we lacked at times last season.

I'm excited at the prospect off him returning, if he's played behind the strikers rather than on the wing I think he could possibly be one of the best creative players in the league.

It's one for Mancini to ponder but I think he would be able to get the best out of him.

I've spent an age trawling this thread, starting as as a "fook im off" voter , then softening for a rehabilitation stance......

at the end of the day we can only judge this lad at the start of next season where his football wil do the talking ( haha footy pundit cliche count 3 and rising !!)

I suspect that Senor Robson has seen the writing on the wall..... his unprofessioanla and immature attitude currently signals 'Bodyswerve' for most managers..

Nevertheless, there's a chance of him getting a last minute gig this window , just as we got him , so can we really build plans around someone who has made it clear that he doesn't give a shyte?

At present I am prepared to be surprised about Robson, but don't expect to be

It's all a question of wavelengths, do we have or will we get anyone that can understand what he can and will do? How many times did we see him trying a pass that no one read if Ireland wasn't playing.

I think we have one in Tevez, possibly Ade.
