Ahh, twitter. It must be true then ;)Someone on twitter intimated that he was demanding a first team level contract. Sounds similar to Sturridge

This!If De Bruyne really is arriving then I wish we would sell Nasri. I don't dislike him but at this point and into long-term it benefits the club much more to sell Nasri and give his role to Lopes.
and after all we've done for him....and we keep calling him Marcos!Very simple for me. If Rony Lopes won't sign a new contract, sell him this summer and move on. Not remotely arsed one way or the other with any player who fucks around with their contract or tries to hold the club to ransom.

100% Agreed. If De Bruyne really is arriving then I wish we would sell Nasri. I don't dislike him but at this point and into long-term it benefits the club much more to sell Nasri and give his role to Lopes.
He hasn't done much on loan, or for Portugal this summer to justify making high demands contract wise. He's got the potential to be an excellent player and in my opinion the club should have looked to part with Nasri or Navas to try and make a place available for him. That's not happened but I can see a Rekik situation arising whereby we sell with a buy back clause.
Hasn't done much on loan? Was Lille's best player by a country mile and earned comparisons to Hazard by the same coach who made Hazard what he is today. What exactly were you expecting him to do? Score 60 goals, take Lille to the top of Ligue 1 singlehandedly and win the Ballon d'Or?

Selling Nasri to give Lopes a more game time is not right imo.
Nasri is more reliable than Lopes.
Think he is a goner unfortunately
