I'm a bit surprised the press havent picked up on the abuse Rooney gave the ref. I think its unacceptable to swear at an official under any circumanstances and if its picked up (which it clearly was) then something shold be done about it.
I thought the rule was if an offcne was missed by the ref, it could be dealt with afterwards and surely abuse towards him applies the same as a bad tackle would.

One of the United fans at work said that Rooney hasn't been booked all season.... not even a yellow! How is this possible?

He's committed 24 fouls (before last night) without a single booking, more than anyone else in the league. (More than anyone who hasn't been booked I mean.)

It was quite obvious from the outset last night wooney was trying to goad Vincent into getting another red card, it would have been the only way they could have beaten us last night.

You might be better complaining to the BBC and asking why they chose that clip where Rooney is clearly seen to be swearing.

Alternatively you could complain to the various newspapers. Don't come across as a Blue with a grudge, just a viewer who is disgusted that the BBC picked that moment when such vile language was being used by an England player towards a referee.

He doesn't have to play by the rules, he's part of team England and therefore above the laws of the game.
