I can live with the fact that we'll never know.. ;)

Have I missed something? Do you know the result?

Why do you ?? stop being a lube and look at the two posts i was replying to.

these rags really make me laugh. on rag cafe one post simply says "fa cup semi. for wayne". it was only a few short months ago the fuckwits were bringing banners to the swamp saying they would never forgive him, daubing death threats around town & sending a bunch of hooded mibs to threaten him at home.

hypocritical much?

You make the mistake of assuming that there's only one particular point of view shared by the entire fanbase.

Personally, I thought he was an absolute cnut for what he did to us re: his contract, but I also appreciate that they're professionals - their prior responsibility is their own career. I don't think I ever hated Rooney himself, as I knew how important he'd be to any chances of success, but he wasn't my favourite person.

He's made positive steps in re-endearing himself to United fans this calendar year, and if the recent FuckingWhatGate (I've just made that up, but it sounds good) did anything, it was make the whole United fanbase get behind him. Like my sentiment entirely when we had Ronaldo; he's a ****, but he's our ****.

You choose the right club, mate, then, when you picked United and not Chelsea.

You've had more cunts in your team over the years than anyone else.

For a few more months.

Agreed.

Baconface will ditch Rooney's arse in the summer and the contract was nothing more than a guarantee of a future transfer fee.

That's actually a scary thought assuming the owners let him spend the cash he'll get. Would go a long way to solving squad depth for them.

Same way it did when he spent the Ronaldo money?

When did that happen? That's why I included "assuming the owners let him spend the cash."

I've got Tevez down as more likely to leave than Rooney.

We can afford to replace him. There's no way on earth uncle Malcolm will give bacon face the money he gets from Rooney to spend on another player.

You honestly don't know that though, do you?

Anyway, it's a moot point in my opinion, as I believe Rooney will stay.
