We do not need Rooney, he would just cause problems in the dressing room as he is not capable of being a squad player. Tevez is our talisman the rest are his supporting cast that said we have AJ/Silva both creative. We have Ade and Balotelli both tall, strong players who will definately get you 15 goals plus a season. The team is now doing well and getting to know each other so why bring in this guy and another ego needs massaging???? Mancini will not go for him because we simply do not need him, forget the squabble with the scum or personal battles to get some one up, in logical terms it is not a good move. All those pro Rooney do you think he deserve to come in earn more than Tevez and be ahead of Tevez in the pecking order? Because that is exactly what his agent will demand and what of Balotelli is he now supposed to be 3rd choice striker now after he left the treble winners last season? Balotelli is a Rooney type player and Tevez has the energy and work ethic so where would Rooney fit in?

Rooney must know what his next move is because you don't go to war with the rags in the way that him and Stretford have done unless you're confident of what's on offer elsewhere. Madrid don't sound like they want him.

IMO if the only attackers we have on our books were Ballo, Tevez and Silva I recon that would be enough given how Bert sets up our tactics, the likes of Jo, RSC, Ade Big Phil, Bellamy, Onouha all surplus to requirements but he will try to keep them until next summer ( I know some are on loan) then you will see clearout when their sales actually benefit club, which they won't do in January.

Agreed, but to some it is another fine example of the rags breaking up, another bit falling off and for some blues it is rather nice to see those fuckers squirm a bit, so it generates interest and to be fair we have been linked with him and it seems there is a consensus of opinion which suggests we don't want shrek.
