Man City need to keep an interest in Rooney and keep the spoon stirring, why? because this will fuck utd season up totally...IMO one less team to worry about for the title. City start to up it with Rooney and make noises, because there will be an awful atmosphere at OT when the guy touches the ball......I for one am wanting this to continue.

Cannot beleive how deluded some of our own fans are.

Rooney has constantly scored goals while growing up and last year took the premier league apart. He needs a change of clubs to regain his form and needs to get away from the piss stained pjamas whisky sipping cnut to get his old form back.

There are now too many reports suggesting that he wants a move to us for it to be bullshit now. He deffinately wants this move as he knows his next contract offer will be the biggest of his life and thats the way football is, there is no loyalty from any player in the world! Yeah you will say Messi is loyal to Barca but are you telling me if they went on a downward spiral like united are doing and liverpool have done then he wouldnt want out? Its very easy to be loyal to the best side in the world.

Also Stan 'dogging' Collymore said that rooney is very interested in us and he can confirm this no matter what, and it turns out that rooneys agent was collymores agent and now friend and often talk to each other still so i beleive that collymore is clued up on whats happening here.

The fact is Fat Waz holds all the cards here because he only has 18 months left on his contract. But he can also sign a pre contract agreement with any English club when there is just 12 months left so if he signed that pre contract agreement with us when he has 12 months on his contract left then his value to the Glazers becomes £0.

Beleive me when i say this. Wayne Rooney will be a Manchester City player by the end of January.

Thinking laterally when ADUG took us over I believe they did it to not only make City a world force but to push Abu Dhabi to the forefront of the world media through the premier league. I now feel they will make every effort to purchase Rooney for marketing reasons rather than footballing reasons, lets face it imagine having Rooney on the cover of FIFA 2012 in city shirt with Ethihad emblazoned across it. I still can't make up my mind if I would like him here or not.
