Haha spot on!

Fact is he will strengthen Chelsea. They will be a force next season, if they play Rooney up front he will do well there. Gollum better hope he has a sensational replacement or he will be right in it if they get off to a bad start.

No Ferguson and Moyes have issues with him - Welbeck for all his promise is not better than Rooney.

We have spent the last 5 years running Rooney down and hoping for his decline, but the fact is that as a footballer he's pretty much peerless in the Premiership and Utd are in danger of being forced to sell a huge playing asset at a knockdown price. Sadly, it will benefit another rival, so we're no better off

yeah we are better off - utd are weakened, and Chelsea would have bought (or will buy) another top class player if they do not get him

Shrek to the Chavs would be perfect for us. If he has a sensational season, Gollum will pay the price and if he doesn't, it will be yet another spectacular waste of the mad Russian's dosh. Couldn't argue with either of these scenarios,
That 'sensational season' for Chelsea could be the difference between them winning the league and us, so there's an argument towards that scenario. Does Moyes having a torrid season as a result of that sale mean more to you than us having success? I believe a rejuvenated Rooney could be what makes a clubs season, whoever gets him.

I think this season will all come down to tactics from pelle, jose and Gollum. if we can get the tactics right then we have nothing to fear as we are as good if not better than anyone else in the division.

Rooney stays, Rooney goes, all interesting stuff, but whether we win the title or not is down to us. Last season a draw to Everton, a loss to the likes of Southampton and Norwich, Nasri going walkabout in the wall and a handful of other minor cock ups saw the title go elsewhere, tighten up our performance with the lower and middling clubs and we'll be in with a shout.
