We have spent the last 5 years running Rooney down and hoping for his decline, but the fact is that as a footballer he's pretty much peerless in the Premiership and Utd are in danger of being forced to sell a huge playing asset at a knockdown price. Sadly, it will benefit another rival, so we're no better off
That 'sensational season' for Chelsea could be the difference between them winning the league and us, so there's an argument towards that scenario. Does Moyes having a torrid season as a result of that sale mean more to you than us having success?
