Nip holmes called this MONTHS ago..bang on the money.
Edited for accuracy
I was the FIRST ;) In all honesty it was a lad that way that had been told and said to me that Chelsea were speaking to him and that was that. At the time the face of the manager was unclear but Rooney was wanted by Emanalo and also then by Jose. Rooney made it clear he saw his future elsewhere and then Chelsea were rapid in approaching him. I was even bold enough to say all the Cavani stuff was bollocks when the proven ITK Italian journo Di Marzio was saying Cavani to Chelsea etc.

Unfortunately I was the only one to be called a bullshitter and the other two got away unblemished, I wonder where NoNo and Cityfan?? have gone. Pair of cunts.

Tolmie called it months ago tbf. Fair play to both of them.
Well it was quite obvious to be honest, a lot of people have called this since his first transfer request a few years ago.

Still, credit where it's due. Tolmie was adamant that Jose was desperate for Rooney a while back, and this is backed up by Mourinho's interview yesterday where he says Rooney is his only transfer target.

Boom. Fucking Jan, not jumping on the bandwagon when the move looks clear.

All interesting stuff the conjecture about who will go here or there, as far as i am concerned, if City play to even 85% of their ability next season they will be PL Champions again without question. A lot is being made about Chelsea being a dominant force, they will be in the mix for sure but we are the team to beat and if we can stop shipping points to teams we should be thrashing, which I think we will under Pellegrini, we will be home and dry... Hopefully we can send a big message to the other 3 contenders by putting Newcastle and Cardiff to sleep in quick succession and emphatically.... Rooney is an irrelevance whether he plays for the rags or chelsea, he will still be watching us lift the PL trophy.

Rooney goes to Chelsea he will be there main man and play as the out and out striker he will score 25+ goals

Whoever plays as an out and out striker regularly for Chelsea next season will score 25+ goals. Mourinho plays with one striker and Chelsea will score plenty of goals, so if one player can hold down that spot they'll score a fair percentage of them.

I have a feeling Lukaku will have a good year, very reminiscent of a young Drogba, which we all know is dearly coveted by Mourinho.

Chelsea's record of buying big name, ageing, out of form strikers for huge money isn't great is it? I hope he goes there, I'm pretty confident he'll be a detriment to the team on and off the pitch. Chelsea are going backwards imo, it took them about 6 managers to fix the player power mess that Mourinho left them with, now they look like they are going to just throw out all that good work, just as they were so close to starting afresh.

i think rooney would be good for chelsea in the short term,i agree about all the good work going belly up but jose will address that problem in the future.

chelsea will be back to grinding out 1 nils against the top teams.

I honestly don't think Mourinho knows how to address the player power problems. He does it at every club and leaves an absolute nightmare situation for everyone who follows. Chelsea were only a year away from being rid of Drogba, Lampard, Cole, Terry and Cech (the main protagonists) and replacing them with exciting young players like all their Belgians, Brazilians and Spanish lads, but now Jose is back and it's down the shitter.

Rooney is only going to make that worse imo and I can't imagine Jose ever sanctioning any of hs "mates" to leave, I even heard rumours that he wants to bring Drogba back! They'll probably be a force in the short term, but I'm not worried about them in the long term anymore

Following the success of the Channel 4 documentary, The Man with 10 stone testicles, they are planning a follow up programme about Coleen Rooney, entitled The Woman with the 15 stone C--t.
