here's my ITK moment. rooney is ferguson's least favorite player on the team...during a recent interview, a journalist even got him calling rooney 'a ****' on tape. it is that journalist's opinion that the rags want van persie to make rooney expendable. next time someone has 50m to offer for shrek, they can accept it. can i be the new tolmie now?

Whoever told you this is bang on, not sure about the tape recording but Rooney is on borrowed time
Works both ways that. If chemical Al can't control him, I doubt anyone could. Also, giving the scum 50mil to reinvest would be criminal in my eyes.

Totally agree especially when you could possibly get Falcao for the same/similar price & he is a year younger & doesn't come with the baggage

He's a magnificent player and one who would enhance any team. But I can't see us signing yet another inside forward, unless there's a surprise exit or two, like Tevez and/or balotelli. And I can't see anyone buying them. So I don't believe it will happen.

But I'd love it if it did to be honest.
he has been a magnificent player, but there is something up with him. maybe motivation, maybe fitness. Maybe one follows the other. not sure if Rooney's loss of form is temporary or permanent.

I prefer our own forwards.
it's true that he's not right at the moment, but I think it's fitness. He certainly needs to be in absolute peak condition to do what he does best.

Rooney as a player would be a brilliant buy, one we don't need though. Although, with his and Tevez's work-rate I think a 3 of him, Aguero and Tevez would work.

Rooney as a person would be a horrible buy; one of the few players I would hate to see at City, apart from to see them get annoyed. It's not that he plays for United, it's that he stands for everything I hate about them.

Anyway, surely can't happen in a million years, and giving them £50m would be stupid, so don't think there is a conversation to be had. A conversation about him coming here, anyway.

Rooney

So he's not fit the moment he's never been fit his life style is smoke booze ear and not work hard! If by chance he did come 2 training session a day will kill him he is not a fit bloke

I'm not so sure about that, he covers a lot of ground in the games I've seen him play.

Wouldn't want him anywhere near our club, he can fuck right off. He is a massive prick, he stuck his finger up at our fans after scoring the rebound from the penalty in the cup and before that celebrated right in front of us. He is classless and his only rival for most hated player is Barton. I want him to stay at the rags, makes beating them all the more sweeter.
Same here ,they can keep the fat overrated ****.£50 million is fuckin laughable and no one will pay it.

Same here too.
Bollocks to him and them.

Re: Rooney

player when fit and on form, however i would never be comfortable with the twat in a city side.

Strikes me as being a vile individual and he is not for me.

i would be amazed if we even gave him any real consideration, if he is no good for them rag arseholes he certainly is no good for us.

He would be a cancer within the club.

It's a no for me.

Re: Rooney

Too many Cons as opposed to the Pros, such as the fact that he's a complete **** and we'd be practically handing them a warchest unless Uncle Malc fancied keeping it for himself and the boys.

However, as a player he is fucking lethal, as we've been on the bleeding end of it on so many occasions. A frontline of Carlos, Kun and Shrek would cause defenders to shit bricks in the Champions League.

But it won't happen, nor would I really like it to happen personally, so it's a no from me.
