Re: Rooney

In an epic twist this is all one big smokescreen to buy Nani...

Ugh. Were we not in for Eden Hazard at the start of the summer?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the transfer has to completely clear for the player to join the club. If we were to sign him and wait until September/October for him to take a medical and thus fail then we would have a bit of an issue would we not?

I don't know how the"subject to medical thing works"...anyone else?

Serious question , would any of you be able to bring yourself to "support" this tw@t ?
1. If Rooney ever did play for us, I can guarantee you would cheer if he scored. I've said this when people get all high and mighty about Ronaldo ever wearing our shirt just because he once played for United. It isn't the player you support afterall, it's the club. As someone has already said, Tevez has been more of a **** to us than what Rooney has been to United, but he still gets cheered when he scores. The same would go for rooney.

2. You may as well have just wrote 'twat'.

Re: Rooney

Would rather keep Tevez and Aguero together up top than have one dropped for this vile piece of work! Huge No from me.

The transfer would go ahead despite the recovery time need for his gash to heal alky313 , it wouldn't be dependent on that injury unless we knew it was going to keep him from action for a significant part of the season and even then we may still take him assuming the best medical advice says he will make a full recovery.

If the medical was to reveal any condition or long term deficiency then we could knock it on the head then and there.

I recall RSC coming to the club under a decent injury cloud and as I recall he was on the sidelines for sometime before he played his first minutes with us.

Many is a time when medical advice suggests a player has serious medical issues only for the player to shine at another club who takes a punt on him.

Rooney is absolute world class and would be fantastic playing in the hole behind Kun. But the thing is so is Tevez who also is an absolute world class player.
Wayne would not be an automatic starter. (Until Carlitos goes on strike again that is.)
World class??? I beg to differ.

Do it on the World stage then you could possibly call him World Class. For England i dont think he has scored in open play against one of the top teams and for Man Ure, Yes he scores well in the Premier league but what about the top teams in Europe

Well unlike you, I think Aguero (who hasn't "done it on the world stage") is world class as well as Rooney. But it's all just a matter of labels and personal opinion.
