No one will dispute that.
He will not be what the overwhelming majority of City supporters were craving for. If 'Statement of Intent' is correctly attributable to MH then I am absolutely sure - as sure as sure can be - that another, bigger name forward will arrive before the end of the month.
By Monday, the Tevez period of cogitating with KJ will have been completed and there is a better than Evens chance he will have settled on us.
MH will then be looking to finalize the Dunne replacement and sign (if necessary) an Elano replacement.
That will be our major signings over and done with. Roman from Espanyol should be announced next week.
We can then start the pre-season training and tour of South Africa.

MANCHESTER City expect to complete the £15million signing of Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz on Monday.
Santa Cruz is still on holiday, but is set to undergo a medical before finally joining up with his old boss Mark Hughes at the start of next week.
Hughes tried to capture his number one striker target in January only to be blocked by Rovers' transfer fee demands but should soon be reunited with the Paraguyan.
The manager is keen to add a more physical presence to his forward line to complement the pace of Craig Bellamy.
