Rory 'Long Throw' Delap

as well as the throw, Rory offers superb protection to our back four and is by far the fittest (not looks, obv) player at the club. He can play, don't worry about that, just that his job is (excuse the pun) to do the ugly things all teams need. A Potteries Makele.

Add on 11 direct goal assists from the throw-in last season, more than any other outfield player assists btw, and you can see why we value him so highly. EVERY single team would use that throw if available, every single one.

Delap is one of football's good-guys. Doesn't seek the limelight, family man, great with the supporters, unbelievable charity work - how football used to be folks, eh? Don't players like him deserve their 15 minutes of fame, or do we just revere the clueless and classless in their Ed Hardy caps and Hummers in 2010?

What about Pulis for manager, seeing as he's come out on top
over the last 3 games.
Pulis and Delap, wow what a combination.

Screw that, I want this guy...

why, he might have a very long throw, but that's it?
he isnt that much of a good footballer, and using him in a position that a much better player could go in is a loss.
also, as they were saying on sky sports the other day, you can train the players to have a long throw, Micah has a okayish throw, so we could get a coach in to help him improve, the long throw is somethingt hat soon, every club will have.

Ok. So let's get Delap in to train Micah ;)

sign him, then loan him back, that way at least we won,t have to put up with losing about 15/20 mins of the game wathching him drying his balls with the help of the ball boys

Good post. He's well worth his place in our mid table Premiership team and is by far and away our best central midfielder, even with Whitehead in form. The way he came back from his leg break to reach his best again without losing anything mentally like Cisse is impressive, as is the charity work that the post mentions. Huge credit to him for doing the Lands End to John O'Groats route by bicycle for a local charity.

Can I post that video of that guy being smacked in the fact by the back flip throw-in in America yet?

This is the best move.
