He is 25 now and watching him last few years he just hasn't got it in regards to when to dribble and when to pass it at the right time.

And yet he can't even get into the England squad who are lacking in midfield options.
Could be one of those signings where he exceeds all expectations. His talent is obvious but he's need to sit deeper for us imo and not sure he wants to do that. Yaya he ain't but he reminds me of dembele at Spurs at times and we need that type of player again imho. Barkley can break the lines as a midfielder and surge from deep. He could be a huge signing for us or another delph, Rodwell type

Agreed that his career and stock seems to have fallen in bit in the last 24 months, but I wouldn't object to him on a freebie in 12 months. If anyone could bring out the best in him, it's Pep. And if he couldn't, then sell the fucker on for big profit.
