youve ever been in i would have two to say

1 the railway in Salford was in one day when a bloke let a chicken loose ,and a jack russel appeared from nowhere and ripped its head off.

2 the ship on cross lane sat in the vault ,a lad walks in gets a pint takes his coat off takes his gun out andputs it on the table ,like in some kind of western.

Two of the roughest clubs I've ever been in:

Brooks International in Lancaster. Sticky floors, even stickier people. I once saw a group of lads in there drop a urinal cake into their mate's pint. Rather than throwing a strop, the guy just finished the pint and spat the urinal cake back at the one who'd dropped it in there.

Sinclairs in Stalybridge. Scabby old biddies trying to dry hump spotty young lads pretending to be Stalybridge Celtic players. Just plain awful.

I hear they used to have jack the rippers on in there on a friday afternoon,in the mid 90s ,erm so im told that is.

The "Penny Black",Cheetham Hill,was "interesting".

The Flemish Weaver down Salford Precinct used to be lively place.
Probably the roughest I've ever been in though was "The Kerry Arms" in Hereford. That was a fucking zoo that place.

When I played darts in the 80's the three roughest pubs I went in were, in no particular order

Cheshire Cat, Brinnington
Wembley, Adswood
and our home pub, Nicholsons Arms. Lancashire Hill

I remember saying to one of our team members that I thought the Nicholsons had a reputation, but I felt it was OK. He said that it went off quite often and I'd been fortunate not to witness anything.
The following week someone was glassed and the week after, on a non dart playing night, someone was shot.
