Roughest pub

youve ever been in i would have two to say

1 the railway in Salford was in one day when a bloke let a chicken loose ,and a jack russel appeared from nowhere and ripped its head off.

2 the ship on cross lane sat in the vault ,a lad walks in gets a pint takes his coat off takes his gun out andputs it on the table ,like in some kind of western.

the fox vaults was a place if you went in you stared at your shoes all night. the tables and chairs were screwed to the floor and they had a long bench where the brass sat waiting for custom.

the brass handles only been in a few times, two blokes ran in firing pistols on a turf related hit and shot a few people before the regulars who had guns, shot back. the ones on the hit made it to the grass outside the pub and were executed there and then. of a pub with about 100 plus people, nobody saw a thing when asked by the police.

scotland road in the pool was a bit lively. infact anywhere where there are docks seems to be a bit on the rough side

The whalley back in the day but my personal fav was the Claremont, as a young whipper snapper you daren't look at anyone, especially those who had two eyes, which was a rare.

The Claremont was rough as fuck, spent many a Saturday afternoon in there as a kid. I recall someone getting their throat cut in the doorway.

Whalley was tasty. Remember the Pepperhill ?

The Jacksons in Sunderland.
Beehive in Newcastle city centre.
Roebuck in Urmston was lively.
Feathers in Chorlton was full of Merseybank.

no but i know people that were and go in regular. the rags were on the telly that day. i`ve only been in occationally when going in to see a mate

i used to go in the moonraker with a mate of mine mike sampey, it was a long time back and dont know if its still open.
