It's amazing how whenever a manger tells it as it is a huge number of people seam to think it must be some kind of ruse to upset the opposition. It's pretty much always just the guy giving an honest opinion. But that's too boring for a lot of people.

Managers NEVER criticise their next opponents for fear of motivating the opposition players to make him eat his words. Imagine if Hodgson had said that he thinks City are a team full of bottlers who've blown the title. Would just serve to provoke the team and give his side a much tougher game. So they say nice things that couldn't possibly offend. They all do it.

We have made a fortune for the news media this season. Let's hope next season we have managed to secure our training facilities with Leylandii trees that the media can't climb and grow so fast and thick that they won't be able to see through either!!!

Just listened to Roy Hodgson praise City for our performances this season for making it so difficult for the so called bigger clubs. He went on to say we're not getting the plaudits we deserve because everyone wanted the title race to go down to the last game and it now doesn't look that way and so everyones being negative towards us.

There's a hell of a lot of truth in that and not just to the outsiders but for those of us of a sky blue persuasion. It ain't all that bad!

If Woy is so right why is everyone on here spazzing out saying that we have thrown it away??? Mancini OUT etc. Either we deserve plaudits and we were pipped at the post or we have thrown it away. Cant have it both ways.

Because a lot of people right now are hurting, they're disapointed and frustrated and probably getting shit off reds and so can come on here and vent their spleen about throwing it away. When the dust settles the majority will come to the conclusion that by and large it's been a progessive season and there's a damn site more hope to becoming next years Champions than we could have ever hoped to have dreamed only a few seasons ago. To be honest there is a large percentage of people in control of their emotions on here that are already saying that anyway.

There is also nothing wrong with disecting the season, tactics, performances etc but for those who already had an agenda against Mancini they've been handed the perfect opportunity to stick the knife in and twist it all the more. The likes of Roy know the game and how it work's and quite rightly, without any personal involvement or emotion see that we're well on our way to becoming the dominant force in our domestic league.

Roy Hodgson is a true gent.

A couple of years ago at the City vs Fulham game at Craven Cottage, we were lucky enough to get ask the managers (Hughes and Hodgson) for their autographs as they were completing their post-match interviews. Hughes finished his, signed the programmes for the kids without saying a word and walked off.

Hodgson finished his interview and was about to be rushed away by his PR lady. He stopped her however, aware we were standing about 10 yards away. He then came over to us, asked the kids if they had enjoyed the game, thanked them for coming along and signed the programmes and chatted.

As said above, a true gent.

If Bluemoon gave out awards for the post of the season then this would be in contention. On a different note my opinion of Roy Hodgson has change.
