Delivering a verdict as only he can in his role as an ITV pundit, Keane pulled few punches as he tore shreds of City's under-performing players.

"In the last week, you watch their performances against Liverpool, Norwich and Kiev and watching those games has been torture," stated a typically cutting Keane, reflecting on a trio of games in which City have failed to score.

"Against Kiev, you can say the hard work was done in the first leg, but there is still responsibility on the players to go and perform and when Man City are in that mood, I wouldn't go and watch them play in my back garden.

"Poor attitude, you should still have a desire to go and win a game of football against Kiev.

"The idea that City can go and win the tournament, they are all in cuckoo land."

Struggling to disagree with him.
Hopefully the team will be stung enough by the criticism to go out and do something about it.

He's got half a point, still a twat though.
if he was in my back garden on fire id close the curtains

Souness said the exact same thing about how we played mid week you cant know what either have said as we are just trying to coast the rest of this season and thats not helping us and were we are. Sure who knows if we avoid Barca and Bayern I think we have a good chance against the rest of the teams in the champions league.
