He is and that's his opinion - is in contrast to mine and adds why I don't like him. If people agree with him they can vote for him as many on here do.

You slagged him off earlier for not congratulating them. Now it turns out that he did in fact congratulate them, you've moved the goalposts and decided it wasn't sycophantic enough for your liking because he didn't do it on Twitter.I think otherwise and I don't think it strange in the slightest to want a potential leader of the country to support the Royal Family - he has made his views known before many times.

NEWSFLASH: Socialist and anti-Monarchists out in droves over Royal Wedding. In other news, rain in the forecast. Winter will be cold.
Thought it was a beautiful wedding on a beautiful day in an England I miss.

Oh, I know! My wife and I were watching it on TV in Chicago and laughing at the looks and glances! Thought he was going to stop when he said they had to get them hitched, but he carried on. I could have done without a bit of the seeming political stuff, but it’s what happens when a black preacher gets on a roll. Thought the “power of love” motif was successful, especially considering this is a mixed race divorced American Harry is marrying! That’s some resistance he must have been working against inside the walls of the Palace! Good for him! And her!
I think William and Harry are TRYING HARD to modernize the Royal Family and bring it into the 21st century. William obviously has the whole “future King” hanging over him, but Kate is a commoner, which is good. Harry has blown that out of the water with an African American divorcee and, I hope, will continue to spread the word of giving through the work he does, especially in Africa...which will be great for the new black Duchess!
Britain is definitely progressing. Not impressed with most of it. To me, from afar, it appears on the decline, but today...to the whole world...it put its best foot forward and looked spitshined and glorious. Long for those days, as they are what I miss...as well as the food and the football, and (mostly) the weather!

All I was trying to say in my posts were about the differences in culture and it got hijacked into something about racism by certain people.
I, also, thought the 'power of love motif' was poignant and something that was unashamedly strong in its message.
It's something you either nod your head in agreement with or feel unconnected with that message enough to think it was boring.
And, in response to other comments, you don't have to be a great orator if your message is full of passion.
