RSC the terrible truth.....

I personally doubt De Jong will agree a deal with us - with slime bags advice he will run his contract down - he's a great player but we are smart enough to know that we will need to prepare for his departure. The club should make it clear to al its playing staff if you employ Kia you have no future at the club. There is no way we should be having any contact with that vermin.
agree

Honey, do you mind if I take a pay cut?

bearing in mind how much money we all have put in his pocket, I think the least he could do is offer his missus in half hour slots....form an orderly queue!

(that is of course 29 minutes and 30 seconds to relax for a fag after the deed)

that said, he does seem a nice chap and you have to agree that he has been bloody unfortunate with injuries - NOW GET OUT!!!!!

For City though, none of these players sitting on their arses running down their contracts is much of a problem. OK so there's a few million quid down the pan, and no-one likes to lose money like that no matter how much money you have got.

But in the context of the overall investment in "the project", it's a relatively minor inconvenience.

People might worry that carrying all this dead wood on vastly inflated salaries would damage our Financial Fair Play balancing act, and on the face of it they would be right. But if we don't meet the FFP break-even requirement, UEFA will look at future projections, where we can show how the books will look once we have got rid of our dead wood.

Looking at her - I'll only need 5 minutes - including the fag!

The blame for the RSC situation lies with no-body else but Hughes.
His pursuit of him became an obsession and has damaged Hughes reputation no end and rightly so.
He paid £17.5m for a player who was already injured, which just goes to show the extent of his obsession.
RSC only had one decent season with Blackburn, 43 app / 23 goals and the season before we bought him had only bagged 6 in 27.
So who can blame an average player for signing for stupid money/wages then refusing to move on for less.
He knows he will never get a deal like this again and will see it through whilst probably sucking Hughes cock for setting him up for life.

The sickening thing with the Santa Cruz deal is everyone single one of us fans KNEW how this would turn out. He'd be constantly injured, he'd be over-priced, and he'd be a nightmare to get rid of. How this transfer was ever allowed to take place is beyond me.

Hence the reason Marwood, Cook, Kaldoon and the manager determine transfer policy, they will never ever allow so much power to a manager again. IMO.
