RSC wants out

Found this nice little article: <a class="postlink" href="http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/story/0,6903,543912,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/stor ... 12,00.html</a>

Nice to note we've already got two on it (no history my arse). The only question is, how high up does Mr. Cruz go?

Got to be one of the most ridiculous buys in football history

our worst ever buy, the worst.

Purely on a value for money basis but Veuoso or whatever his name was has to be up there if purely a worst ever buy thread.

On a vlaue for money he certainly ranks at number one, closely followed by Lescott and then Bridge

He's been injury-free for 5 months now so why the "crocky" jokes?

he had an injury problem which we knew about when we signed him from Blackburn and that looks like it has been resolved. But in the meantime we've signed other strikers so he's down the pecking order. That's not his fault.

Injury free for 5 months?

You sure?

When was the last time you saw him play? And how "fit" do you think he looked? Did he look as fit as he did at Blackburn?

If he didn't, then he's not "fit".

I'm all for defending players, but there's no need to make stuff up mate.

A gash player(his record speaks for itself) signed by a gash manager!

Goodbye and good riddance

Too many injuries , too few goals , not enough opportunities ..... it's just not gonna work our for RSC here , is it ?

so a parting of the ways will no doubt follow.

Not his fault, the blame lies entirely with Hughes and his obsession to sign him whatever the cost a la Lescott which contributed to him being relieved of his post, not to mention wayne bridge.

I can't believe people are defending the guy, he's been HORRIBLE.

He should have at least been made to buy a ticket because all he ever did was stand around and watch.

Hughes spent £42m on RSC and Lescott alone (ignoring their salaries). That just beggars belief.
