Rubbish Sports thread

Gave it numerous goes (Calgary Flames and Edmonton oilers). Tells you how good the sport is, when people only get excited about fighting within the sport, and not the sport itself.

Kind of agree. Only went once but couldn’t see or follow the puck!

No mate but then again I thought all blues were from Stockport?!! Probably would need to watch it properly to really have an opinion but caught some US college Lacrosse once and it looked mad. Anything with sticks and helmets strikes me as being dangerous

Close to my list that, though back in the day I do remember getting into some of the big world champs tussles, especially Higgins vs Davis etc.

there are some sports which are ok to do, but boring to watch.

My list based on pointless to watch, would be:
Horse racing (when not betting)
Show Jumping
Motor sport (after the first 10 seconds of the race)
Rhythmic Gymnastics
Diving
Ice Hockey (though that USA/Soviet Union Olympic Final was incredible)
Baseball
Sailing
Bowls

Badminton is great to play but really dull to watch.
 
NFL is just pretend rugby for Americans because they couldn't handle the technical skill of rugby so had to invent a game where they could just cheat and throw the ball straight to the other end of the field. It's like Call of Duty compared to an actual war.

Basketball and netball.

Cycling

Any form of distance running

Snooker

Formula E

Nascar

Table Tennis

Pole Vault

Any form of dancing that people claim is a sport

Weightlifting or strongman competitions

There are plenty who think having a skinfull is a necessary part of going to football, Test cricket is a good day out with friends or family, just choose your stand to go in for what you want to get out of it.

oh I enjoyed the piss up part , but that’s the point. Absolutely no one cared about the match.
 
In general individual sports that have judges, motor sport & tennis unless it's a long legged sweaty blond ;)
