I just think he meant Kounde is still an option, like if the deal falls through. I have never seen Dias play in midfield unlike Ake. It's either or between him and Kounde imo.

For those of us who haven't watched Dias often can you tell us a little about him? Strength's and any weaknesses?

Confident in possession, great tackling and spatial awareness. Sometimes his bravery/aggression cause some unnecessary fouls, but he's getting better with experience. He's a beast mentally. Workaholic personality.

I follow that dude on Twitter, I follow his tweets on a daily basis and I'll have you know that he knows his shit. He covers a lot of Football across different leagues including Liga NOS so I would trust his opinion over majority of the users on here or others on twitter. Of course that doesn't mean that you should as well.

Tbh, I think he'll struggle a bit at times with over commiting, then adapt, then do well. A bit like Demichelis or Otamendi were when they first arrived in his aggressiveness but without the crippling lack of pace or being so old that by the time he learns he won't be about to crap out.
