Kane was brain dead to sign a 6-year deal with no release clause because it was clear to everyone (including him and his agent) that he was likely going to want to leave at some point in the next few years, and signing the deal was a major hinderance to those ambitions.

We have no reason to think Dias will want to leave any time soon as he's already winning trophies, and City, unlike Spurs, will do what we can to move him on for a fair price if he ever asks to leave.

Couldn't be more different.
