Ruben Neves

A player with ambition and years ahead of him doesn't go to Saudi to play football. He plays for money, which is fine, but we want players who play for trophies and have some fire in their bellies.

The difference between the Saudi league and the level we're at is night and day and there's no way a player can make the jump back up.

I really can't see City going for this move, Personally I don't see the point of going for Neves in January on a loan deal for the rest of the season, By the time he gets going the season would be over considering the pile of crap he's playing in over in Saudi.

The Saudi League is absolutely shocking and miles off Premier League standard, I'm sure his fitness levels would be horrendous at this stage, Plus he's fueled by money "not trophies" which is the main concern.

Let him stay were he is, He's bang average anyway and nowhere near good enough to play for City.

If the fee is senisble or even better loan him for the rest of the season then why not bring him in in January as extra cover. We can forget the likes of Zubamendi and Ricci mid season.

Need more energy, mobility and pace in midfield, Ruben Neves covers none of those criterias. Slower than a glacier
While I agree got to be realistic mid season. He is used to playing Premier League football which is bonus in trying to adapt.
