i read them all - i deal with Homes England on a weekly basis and am now leaving this forum today to go and meet a pension fund investing in property in this City. I know what i am talking about on this and they have done a very good job on housing. You may call them elsewhere but this man is a decent and good principled man. As i said give him a chnace.

It has always amazed me how a person can be put in charge of an office that they have no true experience of.

Sure I understand that there are civil servants and advisors to the ministers but still I would rather have someone who has spent many years working in a department to run it rather than someone who is there due to a re shuffle.
