Rugby Union Six Nations 2023

Do not understand why Shaun Edwards left Wales ?
Was it due to Gatland leaving ?
A huge loss for Wales and a massive bonus for France.
Will he follow Andy Farrell into a Head Coach role ?
If England have any sense, after the World Cup they should offer Farrell & Edwards all the money they want to be the management team.
As a Welshman, I hope they keep their heads in the sand and continue to ignore the Rugby League lads for senior roles (Kevin Sinfield apart)...

Depends which Edwards version you believe.
Either they didn't call him back when they said they would.
Or because France offered a 4 year contract not a 2 year on.
Or that people thought he was going to Wigan, but he stepped back from that because he wouldn't have the level of control he wanted.

I do find it amusing if the RFU end up with a RL coaching team.

We were shit because Eddie Jones pissed around, should have been replaced after the 2019 World Cup Final. We got humiliated against France last week, but at least we gave Ireland a few scares, but the match was ruined by two harsh red cards. Still think we were second best, but the score was harsh for England. Forget the World Cup, 4 years to get our act back together

Oh ok, i think France or NZ will be too much for you, probable quarter final exit again.
In saying all that, if it all clicks for you from the off, then no side will look forward to playing you & you are certainly good enough to win it.
As a Welshman, i certaily wouldnt want to play you, i will be happy to get out of our group ha
Would like to avoid France in France if possible but fuck it, we'll probably have to beat them at some stage if we want to win the thing. No fear of anyone else in the tournament, play to our capabilities and we're more than a match for any of them. Quarter final is the big one, semis is against a Pool C or D team which look significantly weaker, although a lot can change between now and then.

He had plenty of time to make a decision….as a tackler you have a responsibility to tackle safely and fairly. He deliberately chose to stand up, turn and put Keenan in danger.
He should have conmitted to the tackle and neither would have been hurt.

Slam Saturday and Slam Sunday Irish Rugby is flying it at the moment.

As for the red card it was harsh but it happens and after the Ireland v France game when the French lad got away with a worse hit than Saturday and all of the shit hit the fan this was always going to be given as a Red card. England played well but was always going to be a hard game once down to 14.

As for a World Cup and we look forward I think we have a great squad in most areas apart from 10. The Sexton issue for me is going to make or break Irelands World Cup chances. Our pack if everyones fit and ready there is going to be some great players missing out. Same with the back line to the centres area is strong as is the wings and full backs some players missing out on games in this 6 Nations that could come back into the team its a great headache for the coaching team going into a World Cup.

I cant wait to see what happens.

Could always chuck Cian Healy in at 10 :)

Shaun left Wales as his contract was due to expire and the Welsh RU had not made contact. At this time France made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
