Well Ireland struggles continues. Even with a solid win we had so many errors and again the heat is literally killing the lads in the pack. We are managing some of the key players. In Best , Sexton , Murray and Stockdale. There is just something just lacking and missing from the team. I was in the bookies today and Simon Zebo was talking about the match today. When he should be out there in our squad. He has that X Factor that we might be lacking. Sadly for Ireland and not picking players outside of Ireland we have a talented played just watching from afar. What will we do if more decide to play in England or France. Hopefully that rule will come to a end and these guys get a chance to come back into the squad at a later stage.

First off mate, you needed the win and extra point, got that so calm down.
To Russia if they had a set of backs on a par of Italy they could be good their pack gave every thing and I love their no 7, so fair play to them.
Regarding you're boys do you need a top team to turn up for. If you're first pick at 9 and 10 are fit to play with the backs and forwards you have a great chance, however you just don't seem interested, like going through the motions and very slowly.
I think Japan might do you a favour so chin up mate
ps oh yes sorry but who are these Irish centres who are better than Foxy, just so I can keep an eye out for them :-)

Over reaction but this is probally our best World Cup team we have ever sent over. The bonus point was good. The break until next Saturday will do us the world of good. If we can get some more players back I be happy Joey Carbury , Henshaw and it will be good. Seeing Rudduck and Beirne playing in the pack was great as it was 1 of the highlights of the game that we had.

Sad to hear so many games getting called off due to the weather over there. Got to feel sorry for the Scots if they dont get the chance to play and there match with Japan gets called off as a result of it. To go out without playing the game against the hosts with a chance of a getting to the next round would be sad. Since the Ireland game they look good going forward and would put it up to Japan. In a must win game for both teams.

Also completely unfair for the countries who have already qualified for the quarter finals but will still have to play the final game.
More chance of injuries , opponents having extra rest time etc etc

Weather is weather but the organisers have got this very wrong and the integrity of the competition is damaged.

No way does the All Blacks game get called off if they need points, no way. Disgraceful to Italy and the same applies to Scotland if their game goes.

What if they move the Scotland game? What then do Italy do?

Even England v France should be moved as the games have to be played or the competition is screwed.

Ridiculous state of affairs. They've had years to prepare for this and there are free days next week. How hard can it be to play these games on Monday and Tuesday instead!?

So Italy probably wouldn't beat the All Blacks, but to deny them the opportunity to try is grossly unfair. Same with Scotland and Japan.

What has so far been a fantastic tournament will now always seem tarnished and have the winners needing an asterisk after the honour denoting that some teams didn't get a fair go.

But apart from devine intervention telling some bugger to build an arc, guess its in the lap of the gods. If they ignored the weather threats and it went tits up can you imagine where the fingers would be pointing.

Who cares about the other teams anyway? If it happened to England the other home nations wouldn't give two shits. It has worked out great for England and that's all that matters.
