Rugby Union World Cup 2019

Thought Fickou ducked slightly to brace for impact, but I don't think there can be any complaints about the yellow card.

Moriarty was maybe a bit lucky but yellow was the right call. He’s really put his team under the cosh.

George North has put in some great tackles.

If every tackle like that was red then there'd be no-one left. It wasn't violent, wasn't a clothesline and didn't really swing, more of a stretch.

I would love to see this French side play Australia - it would be ridiculously attacking. Having a strong French side is a good thing for the Six Nations too.

I agree mate. It’s just the refs seem to have been inconsistent in their decision making and a forceful high tackle to the head / top of the neck runs a bit of a risk. Yellow was right.

The French play is exhilarating but it would make sense for them to cover the fullback space.

Lucky for Wales, France are big time bottlers. They could be 20 points up at ht and I still wouldn't back them.

That’s in the 6 Nations. France have the better pedigree in World Cups. That shouldn’t count for a lot but lack of big game World Cup wins weighed heavily on Ireland yesterday.
