Rugby World Cup 2023

Who would have thought England would fly the flag for the home nations

It's a weird one because if this thread was anything to go by it was as if England never existed.

Maybe the fantastic Irish side or the decent Welsh and Scottish ones relegated England to the "Meh" category and lulled their haters into what appears to have been a very false sense of security.

Probably it's more like Southgate in that the first really good side we meet they will be out ie next game

England were piss poor. New Zealand will have them for breakfast if they get them in the final, even if they do that V-shape bollocks again when the Haka is happening.

Ireland don't qualify as a home nation, when Wales got knocked out, England were already flying the flag for a fake continent within a continent before they even kicked a ball today.

I haven't even seen England play well yet, so far they are the Germany in football terms of FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan 2002.

England have been a shithouse disgrace this second half
Hope they go out
Take it you have never played a game of rugby. Fiji are a good side and England had to dig deep, they did, so good luck to them. It wasn't a 7s club game it was for a place in a world cup semi. Are you just envious that the English players did themselves proud.
