Samoan fans fit to lynch the ref and I don't blame them. Harsh to disallow the try but it's going to hurt twice as much doing it after the conversion attempt.

For all it’s got the decision right, they surely should have looked at it more closely before awarding the try in the first place.

Yep, watching it at home and I thought it was a knock on in real time, rest of the family didn't, but I think we were all surprised there was no review initially.

They still top their group, not really ideal preparation for Fiji or Australia (unlikely) in the quarters but they should beat either handily enough.

Samoa will doubtlessly suffer in the last 15, so this is nowhere near over.
