Rugby World Cup

I've thought before why don't more football managers have a box in the stands to watch the game instead of at low level. You can't see a thing at ground level, surely give you a better understanding on how your playing and what to change.
Steve McClaren watches from the stands, that says it all.

I'm found in 102 every home game season ticket, I'm taking the piss here out of England not City ffs ( With all the advertising going on I thought they were going to win it )..

Bit disappointed we didn't make our dominance in much of open play count but I was impressed we kept them try less , I was impressed with their defence and scrum . I thought this would be the game that could put us out, instead it is just offering us a different path to win. We needed 3 wins before this game and we still do. Worried about Liam Williams though I think Dr J will be ok.

But ....... In my life I have never got to support Wales in a major football tournament and today 57 years was put to bed. Also I am optimistic of a mad French shock against NZ and I think we can and will beat South Africa. I think the intensity and fitness of Wales could be too much for an old and well past it team.

So onwards and upwards - party mid week against Andorra and then itS the Boks next weekend.

Let's hope that seat is still booked for beer by the boys from Abercan

Have to say one joy I do get from Wales is thy feeling I always used to get from City. There is something great about being the underdog taking on much more powerful teams. It was such a drug feeling like that against the top sides years ago. Now with City apart from Barca and Bayern away we are nearly always favourites or at least pretty even.

For Wales though I still get that buzz of going into games a massive under dog - the Euros will mean a lot of sleepless nights here and will be a lot of fun. Triumphing over the mighty Boks will be too.

Still hoping my near 2000-1 bet on city to win champs league and Wales to win Euros comes in :-) chuck in City winning the league and FA cup , a rugby World Cup win for Wales and a Geraint Thomas Tour de France and I'll be ecstatic

Totally agree mate. I sit in 305 East Stand and I think I get the best view of the game as a whole. You would think managers would sit high up and just get their views onto the pitch via phone to the training staff

And then you woke up

Bit of a disappointing result for Wales yesterday. It started to go wrong when Faletau was wrongly adjudged to have illegally tackled with a neck roll. He didnt, and it was an important turnover which he won really well. They kicked the penalty and then Biggar missed a sitter. That meant that they started to pull away with next penalty and the scoreboard was against Wales which meant they needed to go for the try, but all the pressure didnt bring any points. Can only praise Australia for that they defended well. However, George North should have scored. I dont know why he cut back inside, he should have just gone flat out for the corner and if he dives he definitely scores. Faletau was unlucky not to score as well with a little knock on on the try line. All in all, they werent far away and they shouldnt be too bothered about having to play South Africa. Injuries are a problem again now with Liam Williams going off. Lloyd Williams will probably have to play on the wing now, which isnt the end of the world as he is like greased weasle shit and apparently the fittest player in the squad. Cuthbert really can get to fuck though, Ive never seen a more clueless international rugby player, he is absolutely gash
