Rumour - Elano to Liverpool

If we have players that the top 4 PL clubs would considered good enough for them then why wouldn't we be keeping them? Is Elano really that standard (consistently)?! Surely we would be keeping top 4 standard players and looking to add more, not moving them on?

If we are to push for the top then we really need 2 players in each position who are capable of performing at the highest level. Players will understand that, if htey dont then they may be need to move on. No reason for Elano to go, but there is a need for him to display consisitency.

Would come back to haunt us I feel, I would prefer him to be sold abroad. He's such an enigma, we all seem to rate him but he only turns up for 5 or 6 games per season, sadly we know what he's capable of, so I for one reiterate I hope if sold its abroad.

Read a couple of bits on bbc today (i think) that inter milan where after elano as well.
Would prefer to see him go abroad and do well.

Looking inevitable that he's going I think. Very sad if true though.

I am particularly concerned by Muppet's comments that he has brought Barry in to add some passing ability to our side and also delivery of set pieces.

Did he ever watch elano play, I wonder??????

I hope we keep him, he is a top class player. People moaning about his consistency forget that he was in and out of the side all season including being dropped for good performances. He's shown what he can do when he gets a run of games.
