Stupid question time: what does the V in BMV stand for? Not 5 in Roman Numerals? If so, we could have BMX.

Inspired by some brilliant runners on here, I went for it. First 2 miles of my route let me know how I’m doing and it went well:-

PB 5k - 22:13
PB 10k - 46:05

I’m absolutely buzzing my nuts off. Over 3.5 mins trimmed off my previous PB and that was after running a HM yesterday.

Nice to see someone flying the colours of the best team in the land; plenty of Liverpool and United armchairs round there!

Really pleased with the run this morning. Probably wouldn’t have pushed myself to 10K without this group.

It’s hard work but I wear the crown with honour and have brought a few Rags & Dippers down publicly in my time.
One Dipper once crowed that they were the best team in Europe after winning the CL. I responded that they weren’t even the best team in the fucking North West. He wasn’t pleased.

Well. That killed me! And disappointed I didn’t get under 50mins. How I ever did 47mins I will never know. Well done Blues , some great times and efforts.

I started running a year ago and feel very small time in comparison to the runners in this thread. Maybe in a year I'll be able to post some results in this thread haha.

I only started a few years back mate, this time last year I was at least 10mins slower for 10k, just keep plugging away
