If Clinton gets in power, you can guarantee an escalation in hostilities. At least Trump has stated openly that he wants dialogue and a good relationship with Russia.

I'm sure we will be fine, no-one is going to go to war over Syria because no-one has cared so far and well the reaction to the annexation of Crimea continues to be pathetic. Imagine if the Japs had bombed Pearl Harbor and in solidarity to the US we closed a few Japanese businessmen's bank accounts... We pussyfoot around Russia because we are scared of them and their capability to be quite frank.

In Ukraine we will continue to do nothing but tell off Russia and on Syria we will ensure ISIS remain the main concern despite the fact they pose absolutely no threat to us whilst they are in the Middle East. Even the Russians are not arsed about ISIS and they are there.

Our ability to wage war now has reduced so much that Trident will become our only real defence. Intelligence and technology is our strength of course but we sell most of that abroad to the highest bidder anyway which kind of defeats the object.

If anything the only real power in the world we have left is the power we have over the monetary system, it only takes a lunatic though to see past that..
