Very true. I don’t see why the UK can’t pass a nuclear device onto the USA and the Americans pass it onto Ukraine. Bit like pass the parcel only it would be a nuke. Get all the European countries involved and old vlad wouldn’t know who to blame before he is wiped out.Issue is so would we. It would be tit for tat to begin with, very difficult to stop once it starts though.
Bunch of self serving no morals twats.Ugh, cringe. Endless tweets from MPs gushing over Zelensky's speech. They're not concerned with the horrific invasion or atrocities in Ukraine, more arsed that they were present during a "historic" speech. Just like the scousers, MPs make it all about themselves. None of them are fit to polish Zelensky's boots. Our lot can't handle being in lockdoan without breaking rules or are more concerned with making a fuss about bringing their offspring in to the chamber because some how their £80k salary somehow can't cover childcare.

We need to find a way to change politics for the good.

The comparison between the two isn’t helpful. That’s not “up to me.” That’s literally just logic. The OP is correct. The PROBLEM is that “people can read into it what they want.” That’s what makes the figures illogical to compare. It isn't ludicrous in the slightest. It's a measure of comparison, nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't purport to be like for like, it is simply a yardstick. The total value of Russian assets in the UK produces a specific figure. That figure happens to be - if the figure is true in the first place - equivalent to 10% of the UK's annual output. Read into that as much or as little as you like, it's either true or it isn't.
It's like saying the value of my house is 10% of your income. The two are not intended to be directly comparable, but each produces a figure and ti is reasonable to compare the two in absolute terms. People can read into it what they want.
The point about GDP being an inaccurate measure is equally matched by the value of assets being an accurate measure. Property values are guesstimates until the property is sold, likewise yachts businesses and other non-liquid assets. Maybe those values offset inaccuracies in GDP, maybe they don't.
If you don't find the comparison between the two helpful, that's up to you. Doesn't mean one bottom line figure cant be used as a way of conceptualising the other.
Took some time to prepare those jets in terms of specific NATO security equipment but no surprise to me. Hope this helps. Still interesting to see from where to operate.
