Russian invasion of Ukraine

Peace talks looking good.
Russia makes 6 demands.
4 easy, neutrality of Ukraine, certain weapons to be scrapped that could attack russia, clamp down on nazis in Ukraine, protection of Russian speakers.
2 tricky ones, semi independence of donbass and crimea going to russia.

From what we’ve seen, we’d obliterate anything that Putin throws at us in a conventional se se. We are investing outside of the armoured area but still need to keep a much cheaper and reliable armoured fleet. Ajax has become an embarrassment, doomed to failure while the Boxer should be should be pushed to ensure capability.

Mate a dozen of those pedalo swans on Heaton Park lake would pose a threat to the Russian Navy which could barely get a boat out of dock for donkeys years, Minsk was just a floating scrap yard, Personally I’d like us to have another carrier without the expensive F35’s but we are tied to them now mainly due to the complete winding down of British Military Aviation save for the Euro fighter.

If the footage of protestors in St. Petersburg tonight is real (see Twitter), then their number is now too great to arrest, and that will only embolden more people to swell their ranks.

Was wondering this myself, usually the losing side pays reparations, but if they just scuttle back under their rock it won't happen. Perhaps Putin, as part of his war crime punishment, should don a high viz and do some community service.
Think it should be Russia through the commandeering of their oilfields and gas reserves.
